Went for early dinner on a Wednesday. First time and definitely will be coming back. It was before the rush, so it was quiet, which was nice. Got drinks which were very good. Food was top notch and larger portions than I expected. Plenty to take home. Next time will come a little check and sit a the bar. Highly recommend.

This place has off street parking but I bet they fill up quick at dinner. If so you’ll be looking at off street parking. Make sure you check the alternate parking signs when you go. It quickly filled up after we got here around noon. We elected to sit at the bar and we are glad we did. The staff here is great including the bartender who was running around crazy taking care of the floor as well as checking on us. I ordered the Michelada a drink I have liked since I had one at Allegiant Stadium when we saw the Raiders play. It’s essentially a beer and a tomato juice base with a chili lime rim. This one was the best I have had it was great. This one was made with 2 7oz Modellos so whatever didn’t go in the glass they gave you in the bottle. My wife ordered a Mexican Mimosa. It was a mimosa but instead of orange juice it’s tequila! My wife said it was strong but very good. For food we ordered Enchiladas Verde with Carnitas and the Tavos burritos which are 2 mini burritos with meats of your choice (I got the Carnitas and Barbacoa). Both were awesome. The verde sauce on the enchiladas was really good and I found myself scooping it off my wives plate to put on my burritos. The burritos were toasted on both sides which added to the dish. Both dishes came with rice and beans. The beans were really creamy and had great flavor. We will be coming back here. My wife loves Mexican and I’m just it’s ok but here was excellent!

Even on a busy taco Tuesday, we sat right away. The mole was amazing. Drinks were delicious (I recommend the Mexican mimosa), and the tres leches was exquisite!

Tavos was excellent! It was packed on a Friday night, and I can see why. The food was phenomenal and the portions were great. The servers and staff were on top of everything and our table was always clear. EXTRA BONUS LOVE for our server Jessica, who chased after us out the door after I forgot my leftovers on the table. She's the best.

Food was incredible, tasted great and even looked phenomenal! Our waitress was very polite and very attentive. Made us feel very comfortable. The Tres Leches was one of the best I've ever had so would absolutely recommend to a freind!! It was the perfect place for a business lunch as well.

Drink 10/10 strong and good. Food 9 was a little salty and slow, but it was busy Saturday. Service amazing or server checked on us. Definitely love this local jam. Didn't like the water

We found this place from the City magazine as the runner up for Best Mexican Restaurant in Rochester. We wholeheartedly disagree. This is the best Mexican Restaurant Rochester has to offer! The authentic food, service and location WITH PARKING is hard to come by in downtown Rochester. Overall we are confident to bring next time some out-of-state friends over who are major foodies! Highly recommend!

Really great first experience! We sat inside and the atmosphere is great, very festive. The food was absolutely wonderful... good quality, and I was happy with the portion size given the price which is a little bit elevated, but so if the food! The server was nice but as the evening went on the restaurant became very full and we didn’t see the server for stretches of time. Not really a big deal as we had everything we needed pretty much. She was super nice too! The only real negative (and something some people like) is when it got full, it became very loud. I would say if you are someone who has trouble hearing, peak dinner might not be the best time for this spot. But for everyone else, this is a great place to eat and I will be back!
